As you may have been told, All Work and No Play WILL make you a Dull Boy / Girl !!.. I firmly believe that All Work should be a strict no no !. But our busy lives get so much in the rut that we hardly get to nourish our interests and creative spirits.
Having fun and enthusiasm for living is as important as working for it. And one influences the other .. if you are generally having fun, it WILL show up in your confidence levels, your work and your interactions with your colleagues... I speak from experience here !
And while many feel having fun means spending money , it
really is not true. Indeed the best things in life ARE free ( or pretty much so
! ) . It only takes :
a) Information on what is going on ..
b) Finding time for what gets you going !
C) And then finally doing it !!
I really DO hope the Group as under will help you achieve the above ! Information will be made available ( you are also strongly encouraged to contribute the same !! ) , and once you start interacting perhaps you will find others with like minded interests who also plan to go to the same events as you .. and you will agree the BIGGEST fun is had when you are in good company with like-minded people !
To be absolutely honest, THAT is the selfish reason why I started this Group !!
